We are proud to announce that Tenet Security has been recognized as a winner of the 2026 Fortress Cybersecurity Awards by the Business Intelligence Group in the Agentic AI Security Platform category.

The Fortress Cybersecurity Award recognizes the people, teams, and solutions doing the hard, invisible work of protecting what matters most. Securing the agentic layer is exactly that kind of work. The attack surface is growing, and the existing security stack was not built to see it.

The Security Problem in the Agentic Era

AI agents now operate with the kind of access that would be considered high-risk for any human user: write permissions, API keys, database connections, customer data. The existing security stack is architecturally blind to what they do with that access. EDR watches processes. IAM watches users. Guardrails watch prompts. None of them see what an agent actually does at runtime: the tool calls it makes, the data it touches, the lateral movement, the decisions it arrives at.

When Agentjacking occurs, through vectors like prompt injection, goal manipulation, or exploitation at the tool layer, the attacker inherits all of that access instantly. The agent does exactly what it was designed to do. It just does it for the wrong principal. By the time an alert fires, the damage is done.

Tenet Threat Labs has observed all of these attack patterns in live production environments. None were surfaced by conventional tooling. The attacks do not look like attacks. They look like normal agent behavior, because at the execution layer, they are. Identity security is posture. What the agentic era requires is enforcement at the moment the agent acts.

About Tenet Security

Tenet Security is the Security Platform for the Agentic Layer. Tenet enables CISOs to say yes to AI agents, giving security teams the ability to know what every agent is doing, stop threats before damage is done, and stay ahead of attackers. Taking a preemptive defense approach across the full agentic security lifecycle, Tenet covers discovery and risk mapping, real-time protection of coding agents and customer-facing agents, detection of misbehavior and agent-to-agent attacks, and continuous validation against real-world attack scenarios.
